Argentina was crowned champion on Saturday of the U-20 Sudamericano and qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games by beating Uruguay 2-1 in the final match of the tournament.
The loss left Uruguay out of the Olympics, while Colombia, who beat Brazil 3-0 on the same day, will play in a playoff for a spot in the Games.
Gaston Pereiro opened the scoring for the hosts after 8 minutes, but Argentina turned the score around with goals from Sebastián Driussi (36) and Angel Correa (81) to lift the cup.
Argentina, with Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay, will represent the region at the 2015 World Cup in New Zealand.
Uruguay will go to the 2015 Pan Am Games with Brazil, Peru and Paraguay.
