The start for media registration prior to the accreditation application step has begun. This window is exclusive to the media without broadcasting rights to the Tournament.
The first stage of media accreditation for the 2015 Copa America Tournament, for RECORDING MEDIA, has already begun and is available from today, February 18th through Saturday, March 7th.
Very important to note, is that this process is only for the media who DO NOT have rights to broadcast the tournament, for those who have rights they will be accredited in a separate procedure, which will be communicated in due course.
There are different ways to access the media, depending on the country of origin, the medium and if you participate in the tournament or not.
Chilean press and non-participating countries: The application for these shall be made directly with the special website created for that purpose, within the required deadline.
Media participating countries (except Chile): The nomination of the media of participating countries will be channeled through their respective football federations. Each will inform the press in his country the protocol agreed with the Organization of the Copa America Tournament to start recording media. Therefore, these media channels should not enroll in the online form.
There is a special place of the website entitled, Protocol Credentials for media without broadcast rights, which describes in detail each of the stages available.
For questions or concerns there is an available email address: [prensa@ca2015.com] to communicate directly with the press of Chile's 2015 Copa America.
