A goalless draw against Brazil was all that Colombia needed to move on to the final phase of the Women's U-17 Sudamericano, which has been disputed since Tuesday March 1 in the city of Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
Colombia is the last team in and accompanies Venezuela, Paraguay and Brazil for the final round which begins on Monday the 14th and ends on March 20 at the Metropolitano de Lara Stadium.
Uruguay draws but falls just short
The Uruguayan team also got a goalless draw in their match against Ecuador, but on goal difference did not get qualification to the finals. Uruguay garnered the same number of points (7) as Colombia, but Colombia are moving on with a +3 goal differential.
