Paraguay defeats Bolivia 8-5 and advances to the semifinal

Paraguay defeated Bolivia 8-5, which brought their count to nine points in the standings, and thus became the first team to qualify for the semifinals of Ecuador's Beach Soccer Sudamericano Tournament in the city of Manta.

Just six seconds into the first half and the Paraguayans went ahead on the scoreboard with a goal by Pedro Moran, and the lead would increase through Roberto Acuña and Amado Rolon.

In the second period Juan López, Pedro Morán increased the score for Paraguay, but the Bolivians reacted to Moran's score and finally got on the board, putting the score at 5 to 1.  Immediately Orlando Zayas added the sixth for Paraguay, as Bolivia's Pedro Lopez and Eduardo Castedo cut the lead by half (6-3).

In the last stage Pedro López increased the figure for Bolivians, while Moran made the seventh goal for his team.  Unfortunately, Acuña scored in his own net and again Moran added the one that would seal the 8-5 win.
