The President of the Venezuelan Football Federation, Laureano Gonzalez, as the main representative of the governing body, reaffirmed Monday that the 2015 Adecuacion Tournament, will be presented on July 7th at 10:00 am, in the city of Caracas, at Hotel Melia's Caroni River Hall.
This competition will include 20 teams, 18 of which will be from first division, along with the tournament champion and runner-up of the Ascenso competition, and is set to start on July 12th through the end of December.
Later in January, the 2016 National Championship for first division football will begin, as the latest decision by the assembly of clubs was handed down to play the season according to the calendar year and break the August through May fiscal arrangement.
Gonzalez will be joined at the press conference on Tuesday, July 7th by other leaders of the FVF and professional clubs registered for the tournament.
