FIFA establishes the schedule for the Copa Confederaciones 2017 Tournament

 

FIFA's 2017 Copa Confederaciones Tournament, also known as the Festival of Champions will be held from June 17th to July 2nd, 2017 and will include eight national teams competing for the trophy: to date, Russia has classified (host), as well as Germany (World Cup champion), Australia (winner of the Asian Cup) and Chile (winner of the Copa Sudamericana).

Added to the group will be a representative from CONCACAF, which will be decided for the first time in a playoff with the champions of the 2013 and 2015 editions of the Copa Oro Tournament, as the final on Sunday, July 26th between will take place between Jamaica and Mexico. The competition will be completed with the winners of the African Nation's Cup 2016, Euro 2016 and UEFA's 2016 Cup 2016.

The draw will take place in November 2016 in Kazan and the next meeting for FIFA's Organizing Committee will take place on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 in Zurich.
