Defender Diego Barisone, from Argentina's Lanus, in first division football, died on Tuesday in a traffic accident on a highway, as reported by the club.
Barisone, at the wheel of his car, collided with a truck about 400 km from Buenos Aires, on the highway between the cities of Rosario and Santa Fe.
Barisone, 26, made his debut in 2009 at Argentina's Union Santa Fe, also at Argentinos Juniors and from 2015 at Lanus.
