On Thursday, October 29, two matches were played at Girardota for the Women's Libertadores.
The first game saw Ferroviaria of Brazil take on Ecuador's Espuce, with the Brazilians winning the match 5-0.
In a match full of goals Ferroviaria exhibited the potential of their players. The goals were scored by Juliana Santos (11') and Adriane Dos Santos (17', 20', 67' and 90'). Espuce could have gotten on the scoreboard from the penalty spot but it was saved by goalkeeper Amanda de Souza.

The second game of the day was between UAI Urquiza of Argentina and Colon of Uruguay.
The Uruguayans went to locker room with the score in their favor (2-0), but at the beginning of the second half Paula Ugarte of UAI Urquiza scored three unanswered goals to turn the game around (3-2).
34 minutes into the second half Colon equalized through Domeniguini Cecilia (3-3), but Florence Bonsegundo of UAI Urquiza would seal the game with a penalty goal (4-3).
On Saturday, October 31, in Girardota, Ferroviaria will play Colon at 9:00 am and UAI Urquiza welcomes Espuce at noon.
