Women's Libertadores: convincing wins for Colo Colo and Formas Intimas

Another round ended on Friday, October 30, at the Women's VII Copa Libertadores Colombia-2015. The Polideportivo Sur – Envigado and the Atanasio Girardot were the stadiums.

Promptly at 12:00 noon in Envigado, Colo Colo of Chile and San Martin de Porres of Bolivia squared off.

The Bolivian team went ahead in the 12th minute thanks to Olga Sandoval. However Gloria Villamayor equalized from the spot and in the 26th minute the same Villamayor put Colo Colo ahead 2-1. That is how the teams went into the break.

In the second half Yanara Aedo (65'), Camila Saez (71') and Carla Guerrero (90'+ 2') scored to end the game 5-1.

Starting at 3:00 pm at the Atanasio Girardot stadium, Formas Intimas welcomed Universitario of Peru.

Formas took the lead 3 minutes in thanks to the boot of Manuela Brown. After that first goal the floodgates opened as Yisela Cuesta and Catalina Usme scored 4 goals each. Jenifer Peñaloza chipped in 2 goals of the 11 scored in the match.

Thus Formas Intimas got another convincing win (11-0) and looks to be the team to beat in the tournament being held in their city, Medellin.

Formas Intimas vs. Colo Colo in the Atanasio Girardot and Universitario vs. San Martin de Porres in the Polideportivo Sur – Envigad, both will be played starting at noon.
