2015 Women's Copa Libertadores comes to its end; Colo Colo and Ferroviaria for the title

This Sunday, November 8, the Atanasio Girardot stadium in Medellin will host the final of the VII edition of the Women's Copa Libertadores - Colombia 2015.

The Girardota, Envigado and Medellín stadiums were the scenes of 20 intense matches. 88 total goals were scored up to the semifinals.

Colo Colo and Ferroviaria are the two finalists. The Chilean team has reached this stage unbeaten and with a perfect score while the Brazilians shocked reigning champions Sao Jose in the Semis.

Colo Colo wants to repeat the title they won in 2012, while Ferroviaria wants to seal its name on the trophy. The match is scheduled for 12 noon.

Third place

The first match of the day (09:00 hs) will see Sao José of Brazil take on UAI Urquiza of Argentina for the bronze medal.

Awards ceremony

Immediately after completing the final game the awards ceremony will be held. The trophies to be awarded will be the Championship Cup, the Alberto Spencer Trophy to the top scorer, and the Fair Play Trophy. The medals to the participating clubs that have reached final stages will also be awarded.
