On November 26, the Executive Committee of CONMEBOL met. Several institutional issues were analyzed with the participation of the authorities of South American football, chaired by Juan Angel Napout.

For the next edition of this tournament significant modifications have been made among which are: the use of Club Rankings in establishing the seedings of each group as well as other clubs that will integrate into the draw; the requirement to present a quality FIFA certification for the stadiums that have artificial or synthetic turf; it was ratified that in matches between teams from the same national association, the three man referee team will be from a neutral country.

Regarding the situation of the Bolivian Football Federation it was decided to make public the report of the special audit commissioned by CONMEBOL. CONMEBOL will also follow up in analyzing the National Sports Act, if it could lead to an interference in the autonomy of the member association.
