The United States revived their Copa America Centenario with a 4-0 win over lackluster Costa Rica.

Striker Clint Dempsey scored a penalty at 9 minutes, Jermaine Jones (37) and Bobby Wood (42) widened the lead in the first half and Graham Zusi closed the account in the 87th minute of the match at the historic Soldier Field in Chicago before 39,642 spectators.

The win gives new life to the United States after the defeat against Colombia (2-0) in the debut. They control their won destiny when they face Paraguay next Saturday in Philadelphia.

Costa Rica on the other hand are in a tough spot with just one point from two games and now must face Colombia on the final date.
