Colombian striker Carlos Bacca highlighted the "perfect" match his team played on Friday in their 2-0 win over the United States at the opening of the Copa America.
"The game worked out to perfection," said the striker after the match at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
Bacca, 29, said that Colombia did "what we worked on during the week" with coach Jose Pekerman.
The striker, who crashed a shot off the crossbar in the second half of the match, prioritized the team performance and his personal effort despite not scoring.
"I had several chances but I'm happy with the effort, the sacrifice made by this team," he said.
