Argentina was home of the first match played in South America, led by the British who built the railroad tracks in the country.
In 1882 Alexander Watson Hutton arrived in Buenos Aires, with a ball and a pump. From there grew the most extraordinary movement of Argentina.
Argentina has two world titles, 14 Copa América titles, Olympic titles and many wins at a club level. Alfredo Di Stefano, Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi, universal symbols of football and Argentina.
