In the second half, the 'U' continued to control the game. Isaac Diaz scored in the 76th minute and in the 87th minute Diaz scored again, this time from the penalty spot, sealing the 4-0 triumph.
In the first leg, played last Thursday at the Tiera de Campeones stadium (northern Chile), the 'U' won as visitors against Iquique 1-0 thanks to a header in the 35th minute by Isaac Diaz.
The Universidad de Chile will face in the first round of the Copa Libertadores next year club Guaraní of Paraguay.
