Copa Bridgestone Libertadores: despite losing 2-1 to Atletico Mineiro, Sao Paulo advances

Atletico Mineiro won 2-1 over Sao Paulo on Wednesday in Belo Horizonte (southeastern Brazil), but it was not enough as the 'Tricolor' are semifinalists for the first time in 6 years thanks to their 1-0 win in the first leg.

Cazares (6) and then Carlos (11) restored the hope of the 'Galo' that they could list the trophy again that they won for the first time in 2013.

But three minutes later Maicon made it 2-1 for Sao Paulo, whose opponent in the semifinals will be either Rosario Central or Atletico Nacional.
