Marco Ruben (4 and 24, penalty) and Alejandro Donatti (57) scored the goals in the triumph. Rosario advances with a 4-0 aggregate score as they had also won the first leg 1-0 in Porto Alegre.
In the quarterfinals, Rosario will face Atletico Nacional of Colombia, who eliminated Huracán.
