Edgardo Bauza, the first coach to take four different clubs to the semifinals of the Libertadores

With qualification to the semifinals of the Copa Bridgestone Libertadores achieved by Sao Paulo, Argentine coach Edgardo Bauza has managed to inscribe his name in the history of this tournament in being the first coach to qualify four different teams to this instance of the tournament.

Bauza reached the semifinals with Rosario Central in 2001, LDU Quito in 2008, San Lorenzo de Almagro in 2014 and now with Sao Paulo.

Bauza has won the title twice, with Liga and San Lorenzo.
