Argentina midfielder Lucas Biglia is out of the Copa America Centenario due to and injury. Coach Gerardo Martino called up Guido Pizarro to replace him.
Biglia left the United States because it was confirmed he suffered a tear and will not recover in time to play the tournament. The Lazio midfielder had been referred yesterday afternoon to a hospital for tests that confirmed a febrile rupture, according to Argentine media La Nacion.
Another player who was also referred to a medical center for attention was Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela who has a sore right ankle, although the former River Plate player will be available to the coaching staff.
