"Mexico is a very strong rival. They have players that have found success in European football, with a lot of experience on the national team. It will be very difficult for us," said Uruguayan coach Oscar Tabare.
In Uruguay camp are 18 players. Missing are Alvaro Pereira, Luis Suarez , Abel Hernandez, Atletico Diego Godin and Jose Maria Gimenez.
"There is a lot of enthusiasm, camaraderie here in camp. The match with Trinidad and Tobago has been part of the preparation. It is the only chance before the tournament," added Tabarez.
On Friday, Uruguay defeated Trinidad and Tobago 3-1 in a friendly in Montevideo.
Uruguay will travel to the United States on Wednesday and will debut in the competition on June 5 against Mexico in Phoenix.
