Host Sao José defeated Caracas FC 5-1 and was crowned for the third time champion of the Copa Libertadores…

The goals for the Brazilian team were scored by Rosana Dos Santos, Poliana Barbosa (x2), Andressa and Giovana Domingues. Ysaura Viso scored the lone goal for Caracas. Caracas FC is the first Venezuelan team in reaching the final stages of this women’s tournament and received sustained applause from the public.

The grand final was played at the Martins Pereira stadium in Sao Jose dos Campos, State of Sao Paulo – Brazil.

3 top scorers

Three players won the Alberto Spencer scoring award all with 6 goals: Ysaura Viso of Caracas, Andressa of Sao Jose and Diana Ospina of Formas Intimas.

Cerro Porteño gets third place

Earlier, Cerro Porteno of Paraguay and Intimate Forms of Colombia, played for third place.
 
The Paraguayan club won through penalties 5-4.
 
In earlier editions Santos won twice (2009 and 2010), Colo Colo once (2012) and Sao Jose in 2011 and 2013, to which is added the 2014 edition.
