The ceremony was held at the Hyatt Hotel in Santiago being attended by the President of Conmebol, Eugenio Figueredo, national football figures, mayors of the host cities, political and sports authorities, and presidents of the participating federations.

The president of the Chilean Football Federation, Sergio Jadue, unveiled the official logo of the tournament.

The ceremony was held at the Hyatt Hotel in Santiago being attended by the President of Conmebol, Eugenio Figueredo, national football figures, mayors of the host cities, political and sports authorities, and presidents of the participating federations.

The President of the South American Confederation was the first to take the podium to say a few words to the audience. In his speech he sent a message of support to the victims of the earthquake in northern Chile and made reference to the successful and long relationship that Chilean football has with the confederation over which he presides.

"Conmebol and Chilean football have a permanent and fruitful link. This will be the seventh time that the Copa América will take place here and I would be remiss if I didn't pay tribute to the hundreds of players from this country who are giving prestige to South America. In this sense we can not forget Sergio Livingstone. He is a remembered Chilean. Ladies and gentlemen, South America is a land blessed with the talents of its players. The Copa América is the genuine expression of all its peoples, and we are convinced of the huge success of the Copa América Chile 2015," said the leader.

After the words of Figueredo, Sergio Jadue gave an overview of each of the cities and stadiums that will host the tournament, highlighting the work and commitment that is going into this tournament.

"The Copa América Chile 2015 will be a great celebration of world sport, the seventh to be organized in our country. We will not let this great opportunity, after almost 25 years, pass without us being a great host, a friendly rival and an organizer of the highest level. With the Copa América we seek to organize a tournament with high standards of professionalism, putting our country and our football up with the most important world championships. We hope it is the best continental football event ever put on," said the president of the ANFP.

Next on the agenda was a relaxed conversation in the "chapel of the Copa América" with three big names in sport from Chile. Iván Zamorano, Elías Figueroa and coach of the Chilean national team, Jorge Sampaoli, came up on the specially decorated stage and talked football and agreed on the prosperous future of "La Roja" in both the World Cup in Brazil as well as the Copa América next year.

Under the slogan "The Heart of Football", the Copa América Chile 2015 will take place between June 11 and July 4, 2015 at eight sites (Antofagasta, La Serena, Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, Santiago, Rancagua, Concepción and Temuco) and with the participation of 10 South American teams and two invited teams.
