Regulation of the Copa America – Chile 2015, Article 29 speaks about the warnings that a player is to receive during the competition when committing fouls.
Here, in-full:
ARTICLE 29. Warnings
1. The warnings will be established in the Rules of the Game, which are decided by the IFAB and published by FIFA.
2. A player is automatically suspended for the next game in the competition if he has received two warnings in two different matches.
At the start of the quarterfinal stage, the computation of warnings and suspensions completely resets, and the accumulation of two yellow cards will run until the Finals.
Therefore, the player who received a total of two (2) yellow cards consecutively or alternately from the start of the quarterfinal stage, until the end of the Finals, will be automatically suspended for the next game.
3. If a player is guilty of serious misconduct (under Rule 12 of the Rules of the Game) and is expelled from the field (red card), any other caution he has previously received during the course of the same match will maintained its validity.
